We all know a child or know someone who knows a child, right?  This gem of a book will be a priceless addition to any kiddo’s bookshelf….Snippets of poetry from Dickinson, Stevenson and the beloved Silverstein….I can recall my daughter, Gabrielle, memorizing passage upon passage of Silverstein’s poems and those books are treasured by her to this day!

Our plans are to go out for a special dinner and then a good movie.

  8. OMG what fun! I like your list.

What am I doing? Probably dinner and snuggle time with my honey after Baby Whimsy goes to bed. We do have a date night this weekend as an early celebration.
    (not an entry)

  9. Oh what a cute post! Thanks – I need to check out the personal ads one. It looks hilarious!

This Valentine’s Day, as with the past several, I will make a romantic surf ‘n turf dinner for my husband, drink some fabulous wine and cozy up to the fire and watch a movie. We used to do a big Valentine’s (like one spent in a ski lodge hot tub) but as long as we’re together, we don’t really care where it is.

  10. A special dinner creation and then time together which is rare indeed and precious.

  11. Oh I so want to read the personal ad one!

  12. Great list of books.

We’ll actually be going to the symphony on Valentine’s day. I’m looking forward to it.

  13. Mary Preston says:

I don’t have any fixed plans just yet. We will have to wait & see.

  14. Fun! I’m reading GWTW right now for bookclub, but I don’t own a copy. We have two small children, so my guess is we’ll repeat last year’s plans and cook dinner together after they go to bed. I’ll make my husband’s favorite Valentine’s Day dessert: Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Semifreddo!

  15. Hubs and I keep is simple on Valentine’s Day with a card and a cuddle. I love GWTW but I already own it so Forget Me Not is the one I’d like.

  16. I have been meaning to read Gone With the Wind for years now. I would love the chance to win it so I can read it :) Valentine’s Day is all about the family. I love being with the people I love.

  17. I have no plans yet. Hubby probably has to work. Please enter me in contest.
